The Global Health Institute is a leader in international outreach and engagement. Whether through service learning through clinical education abroad courses, or provision of technical assistance in a variety of topics from simulation to faculty development in medical education, the Institute is committed to outreach as core component to the mission.
Currently, with significant support from the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Michigan State University supports faculty living and working in three strategic sites: Malawi, Mexico, and Peru. As a result of this community-based engagement, the Global Health Institute is able to facilitate additional educational and research partnerships with faculty throughout Michigan State University.
